Special feature: On the brass Tsuba(?), Ryokan is engraved with gold, Shakudo and copper color.
Ryokan(1785-1831) was a quiet and eccentric Zen Buddhist monk. He is remembered for his poetry and calligraphy, which present the essence of Zen life. Yukihiko(Yasuda Yukihiko)(1884-1978) was a Japanese Nihonga painter. Born in Tokyo. He also a researcher on Ryokan's calligraphy. He was presented with the Cultural Medal in 1948.

Jidai(era) : From Taisho to Showa period.
Special feature: On the copper Tsuba, A big Buddha and Japanese plum trees are engraved with gold and silver color.
This big Buddha is in Kotoku-in in Kamakura city.
Ishu was born in 1920. He lived in Kamakura city, Kanagawa prefecture. His real name is Kawai Fumio.
These three Tsuba are good quality and heavy.
