Sometime ago, at Sotheby's, we purchased a Japanese sword made by "Minamoto Kiyomaro" for the price of US$480,000. If you are considering selling a sword, please contact us by e-mail and send photographs of the signature area at the same time, if possible. We will submit a purchase price and buy. We will inform you, by e-mail, of the detailed procedure. Because of the sword is made of steel, it is easy to get rust and ruin. So the price varies greatly with its healty condition. If you want, we would like to send the appreciation form that consists of easy-to-understand questionaires about the conditions of the sword. Please feel free to ask us the appreciation form. We would like to offer the price after seeing the signature and the condition report of the sword. WE ALWAYS OFFER BETTER PRICE IN THE WORLD. AND WE ALSO PAY CASH ON DELIVERY. We are interested in armor, fittings, antique items, and art objects as well as Japanese swords. |

.On the understanding of Japanese Swords To appreciate the Japanese swords, one should know that it begins with courtesy and ends in courtesy. Everyone, that loves swords, like us, cherishes them and considers it a duty to pass the swords to the next generation. In order to understand the swords deeply, it is necessary to gain some knowledge on the composition of swords , the quality of blades and the crest on the edge, which is called Hamon in Japanese. Among all these factors, the crest on the edge is usually considered as the most characteristic part of a sword. It is said that if you know the Homon well, you almost have the full image of characters of a sword. This piece of advice is not only available to the beginner in this field, but also to everyone that has devoted himself or herself into the sword world. How is the Hamon like? What kind of character does the Hamon reflect ? All these questions would be answered if you have a view of an accurate drawing of Homon, which is named Oshigata in Japanese. It is also true that great interest is arisen after people comparing the Oshigata with the real crest on the edge, surprising at how wonderfully the drawing has been done. In our company, we not only sale the swords but also feel it our duty to help more people to understand swords. So we offer the Oshigata of the full image of a sword to every customer of us freely. By comparing the Oshigata with the real blade, don't you think it is much easier to understand those difficult terms like Sunagashi, Nijyuuha and etc. easily and quickly? Rules
