The blade was polished .
Blade length : 70.75cm or 27.85inches.
Sori : 1.3cm or 0.51inches.
Width at the hamachi : 3.12m or 1.23inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.365cm or 0.93inches.
Kasane : 0.865m or 0.34inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : The blade is healthy nice looking Kanbub syape.
Jitetsu :Itame hada nagare with Masame mix.

Hamon : Niedeki thick Nioikuchi Gunome midare hamon.
In Ha, there are some weak Kinsuji and Sunagashi work.
On the back from the Hamachi area 10 cm, there is a Kizu in Ha, but not so bad.

Special feature : Kanetsune is well known sword smith at Muromachi period.
This school continued at late Edo period.
Kanetsune was a swordsmith of Mino province. He was descended
from Kanetsune, a representative swordsmith of the Nara-Taro School.
The sharpness of this Kanetsune was highly appreciated. Nara-Taro
School was one of a leading School in that province called Seki-
shichiryu, seven Schools at Seki. The workmanship of this sword shows
a distinctive feature of the School especially at the point of sharpness.
This sword was Edo shinto sword.

Koshirae: (made in modern times)
Tsuba: On the round iron Tsuba, flower pattern openwork is engraved.
Menuki: Waves and carp are engraved.
Fuchi: Made with copper.
Kashira: made with Tsuno.
Saya: Black Roiro Saya.
