Special features : It is said that Kanenaga was a student of Osafune Nagayoshi.
His blades are almost Mumei. And his blades with signature are very rare.
His blades are very similar to Nagayoshi.
But some his blades are more conspicuous Soshuden style than Nagayoshi.

This blade has typical Nagayoshi’s characteristics.
Hamon is very beautiful ith much Ko-nie. And there are many Kinsuji and Sunagashi in Ha.
Also the blade shape is fantastic. The blade shape is very wide and massive, with very long Kissaki.
Condition is perfect without Kizu or flaws.

Blade length : 30.3 cm or 11.92 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.98 cm or 1.17 inches.
Kasane : 0.58 cm or 0.22 inches.

Shape : This blade is wide and thick Mitsu-mune style Tanto.
Suken and Bonji are carved on the Sashi-omote side.
Bohi and Soe-bi are carved on the Sashi-ura side.
It’s very nice and healthy shape.
Jitetsu : Itame works very well with much Jinie attach, and Chikei attach. It’s very beautiful Jitetsu.
Hamon : Nie based, Notare and Gunome mix. Hamon is very bright and beautiful. And there are many Kinsuji and Sunagashi in Ha.
