Special feature : Yamato (No) Kami Yasusada was a pupil of
the First generation Yasutsugu of Echizen province.
The First Shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu permitted Yasutsugu the First using
hollyhock crest and the character Yasu.
Yasusada mainly forged sword at Edo and their collaboration survives.

This blade has Saidan-mei gold inlay signature of Yamanaka Kansaburo Tomoshige, on Nakago.
In addition, this blade’ condition is perfect, and blade quality is excellent.
The Jigane of this sword is very good quality and feel cut well sword.
From Edo period, Yasusada is quite well known cut well sword and left
many cutting test with gold inlay swords.
This sword is also has gold inlay(Kinzogan cutting test).
Recently it is rather difficult to obtain Yasusada with Kinzogan.
We recommend this healthy sword.

Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi: 4
Width at the hamachi : 2.84 cm or 1.11 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.61 cm or 0.24 inches.
Weight of only blade: 535g

Shape : This blade is regular sized Katana with nice Sori and long Kissaki. It’s nice shape.
There are Bohi on the both sides of blade.
Jitetsu : Itame and Mokume mix, and works very well, with much Jinie and Chikei attach.
Jitetsu have wet appearance. There is Utsuri on Jitetsu.
Hamon : Ko-nie based, uneven Gunome midare. It’s very bright and beautiful Hamon.
There are many Ko-ashi and Yo in Ha. And there are Sunagashi in Ha.
Boshi is Midarekomi style.
