Katana : Katana : Echigo no kuni Mituoki (Nendai showa - Era : Showa period).

Special feature : Echigo kuni Mitsuoki is called Endo Jinsaku and born 1904 at Nigata prefecture, and moved to Tokyo in order to enter Nihonto Tanren Densyujyo who was a owner Kurihara Hikosaburo.
He was very skillful sword maker and got a lot of prizes like Yushu sho prize, Nyusen prize, Tokusho prize, Japanese sword Kyosankai Yushu sho prize, Nihonto exhibition token prize 4 times Meiyo tokusensho prize Kinpai , Chirman prize
Sosaisho prize and so on.
He made a sword for marshal Isoroku Yamamoto and also dedication for shrine and temple.
At Showa 56 year, He became a Mukansa sword maker. He passed away 1997.

Width at the hamachi : 2.9 cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.92 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period Bunmei era. 530 years ago.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and also long kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Itame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare, in Hamon, there are many ash, sunagashi and also Yo scatter.
