Special features : Rai-kunitoshi was swordsmith at Yamashiro province in the late Kamakura period.
It is said that Raikunitoshi was son of Rai-kuniyuki.
There are Nenki from Shouou 2 nen (1289) to Genkyou 1 nen (1321).
His works’ feature is Jitetsu with Nie-Utsuri , and Suguha and Ko-midare mixed Hamon.
He made many fantastic Tachi and Tanto, but Kodachi is very rare.

Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.11 cm or 1.22 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.

Shape : This blade is wide and thick Katana with regular Sori.
Jitetsu : Koitame well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Koniedeki Suguha with deep Nioikuchi. In Ha, there are Ashi and Yo.

Special features : The signature is Tachi-mei.
