Special features : Special feature : Hosho is the name of a group of
swordmiths school in the koto period. They worked in Yamato province.
The founder was Kunimitsu who lived circa Koan (1278) of the late Kamakura period.
Hosho Goro Sadamune, Saemon no jyo Sadayoshi and Fujiwara Sadakiyo
were his sons who were also worked as the principal smiths of this school.
They were good at masame-hada kitae.
Quite a few tantos survive but their tachi is extremely rare.
Regularly patterned masame-hada includes nie appears on the
whole part of the blade.

This blade was appraised as Sue-Hosho.
Because shape is Katana , and Hakikake on the Kissaki is few.

Blade length : 64.8 cm or 25.51 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi: 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.75 cm or 0.68 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Shape : This Katana has wide Shinogi and rather long kissaki and Sori.
Jitetsu : Itame hada and Masame hada are mixed with Jinie attach
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha with deep Nioikuchi. In Ha, there are Ashi.
And Utsuri appear.

Special feature?This swordsmith was known for very nice Suguha blade.
