Special feature : Sadatsuna was swordsmith in Sekishu province,
and continued 3 generations.
It is generally believed that Sadatsuna the First was
a son of Sekisyu Naotsuna. Naotsuna has been counted among Masamune-juttetsu, the best brilliant ten pupils of Masamune in Soshu.
Sekishu province, present Shimane pref.
Sekishu province had been prospered by good quality iron, the clan forged excellent swords for generations.

This blade has deep Nioikuchi and much Kinsuji and Sunagashi in Ha.
And this feature is typical Sekishu blade.

Sori : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.
Mekugi: 0.71
Width at the hamachi : 3.51 cm or 1.38 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.90 cm or 1.14 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Shape : This blade is very wide and thick blade with long Kissaki.
There are Bou-hi on the both sides of blade.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with Jinie and black Chikei.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome midare with deep Nioikuchi. In Ha, there are much Sunagashi and Kinsuji and Inazuma.

Special features : Nioikuchi is deep. And there are many activities in Ha.
