Special feature :This blade is ealry works of Inoe Shinkai.
Inoue Shinkai was Izumi no kami Kunisada the 2nd.
Inoue Shinkai was born as the Second son of Kunisada the First in
1630.
And in his father’s later life, Inoue Shinkai forged on his behalf.
Shinkai used the swordsmith name Kunisada on his early works.
Shinkai got the title of Izumi (No) Kami in about 1661.
He started to sign the Inoue Shinkai from August of 1672.
He passed away in 1682, aged 53.
Generally he is called Shinkai Kunisada, and he had the reputation of Namba-Masamune.

This blade has Gunome midare with deep Nioikuchi.
And there are much Sunagashi and Kinsuji in Ha.
This blade is one of Inoe Shinkai’s best work, and we recommend strongly.

Sori : 1.95 cm or 0.76 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.11 cm or 1.22 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.74 cm or 0.68 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.

Shape : The blade is Osuriage Mumei(cut shortened) with rather deep sori and nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well graiened with jinie attach and chikei work , it’s beautiful fantastic Jigane.
Hamon : Chusuguha (middle suguha) style and kogunome with Ashi and Yo work.
