Special features : Kanetsugu was a swordsmith of Naoe-Shizu schoo,
and he was a student of Shizu-Saburo Kaneuji.
The name of Naoe-shizu is the general term of the pupils of
Shizu Saburo Kaneuji. Shizu the 1st, Kaneuji was one of the
most skillful swordsmiths of the Masamune School.
Kanetomo, Kanenobu and Kanetsugu were students of Kaneuji.
They moved to Naoe from Shizu in Mino province and made swords,
therefore they were called Naoe-Shizu.
Naoe-Shizu blades with signature is very rare.

This blade’s Jitetsu and Hamon is fantastic Deki.
And this blades has typically Naotsugu blades’ features.

Blade length : 72.4 cm or 28.50 inches.
Sori :1 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.94 cm or 1.15 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.

Shape : This blade is wide and thick Suriage (about 6cm) Katana with little sori.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada and Mokume are mixed and Masa-gakari with Jinie attach.
And Midare Utsuri appear.
Shinogi-ji is Masame and Mokume.
Hamon : Koniedeki Gunome Choji midare. In Ha, there are much Ashi and Yo, and Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
Boshi is round Kaeri style.
