Special feature : Hankei was born in Mikawa province.
And he was called Ono Zenshiro. His first signature is “Kiyotaka”.
At first, he was a gunsmith hired by Tokugawa Ieyasu.
He moved to Sunpu province together Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1607,
and he started to made sword.
After Tokugawa Ieyasu’s death in 1616, he moved to Edo.
His blade has characteristic Hijiki-hada, and it is very unique.

This blade reminds us Norishige. And quality is excellent.
Activities in Ha are very attravtive.
Blade condition is very healthy and Hamachi is wide.
This blade has typically Hankei’s features.
In addition, Hirauchi style is very rare in Hankei’s swords.
This blade has passed NBTHK Juyo Token.
And Koshirae is also excellent and very gorgeousness.
We recommend this sword for your collection strongly.

Blade length : 54.06 cm or 21.28 inches.
Sori : 0.81 cm or 0.31 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.20 cm or 1.25 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.28 cm or 0.89 inches.
Kasane : 0.69 cm or 0.27 inches.

Shape : Wide and thick Wakizashi with little Sori.
Condition is very healthy.
Jitetsu : Ko-itame hada work very well, and covered in much Jinie.
It is very beautiful Jitetsu.
Hamon : Suguha around Hamachi, and Hamon change to mix of Gunome and O-gunome and Toranba.
Nioikuchi is very deep, and there are much Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
There are Tobiyaki and Tama.
