Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae

Signature: Kuniyoshi (Gimei: signature is not reliable)

The blade was polished .
Blade length : 69.36 cm or 27.30 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.90 cm or 1.14 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.85 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : This blade is regular sized Osuriage Mumei Katana with deep Sori.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained, and Komokume is mixed with Jinie attach. And Utsuri appear.
Hamon : Koniedeki Suguha. There is double-Ha and much Koashi.

Special feature : This blade is Gimei (signature is not reliable).
On the surface, this blade looks very old.
But I think this blade was made in late Muromachi period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the Mokko shaped Tsuba, openwork is engraved.
Fuchikashira : On the Shakudo plate, grape is engraved with gold color iroe.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Kiri Kamon is engraved with gold color iroe.
