Blade length : 63.5 cm or 25 inches.
Sori : 1.0 cm or 0.39 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.56 cm or 1.00 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.64 cm or 0.64 inches.
Kasane : 0.53 cm or 0.20 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho period.
Shape : This blade is regular sized Katana with rather long Kissaki.
Jitetsu : Itame hada is well grained with Jinie and Chikei attach, and Masa gakari.
Hamon : Koniedeki Suguha. There are soft Ashi.

Special feature : Nio was swordsmith group in Suo province.
The founder of Nio school was Kiyotsuna in late Kamakura period, and continued this school to Edo period.
Nio school has Yamato style convined.
Kiyohisa , Kiyonaga are also known as Nio school swordsmith.

This blade is very healthy without Kizu or flaw, and this blade has gotten NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper already.
Therefore we recommend this blade strongly.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the iron Tsuba, nut-pine tree and birds are engraved in openwork.
Fuchikashira : On the Shibuichi plate, tiger and horse are engraved.
Saya : Black colored Saya.
