Shape : The blade is wide and thick healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained with jinie attach and visible to see the texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare and togari gunome midare mixed.

Special feature : Kasama Ikkansai Shigetsugu was a teacher of the human national treasure Miyairi Syohei.
He was born at Meiji 108th year Shizuoka prefecture.
He is very good at Horimono also and made many swords during his life. He educated many sword makers.
His career : At Teikoku (imperial) exhibition sword contest, he got the top prize.
He made swords for imperial majesty, and relatives of royal family.
He educated Miyairi shohei and Tsukamoto Okimasa.
He passed away Showa 40, March first.
