Width at the hamachi : 3.03 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.83 cm or 0.72 inches.
Kasane : 0.74 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Early Edo period. About Shoho era.(about 1644)
Shape : The width and thickness are massive. And the blade shape is Kanbun Shinto style with small Sori (curve).
Jitetsu : Very tight Ko-itame, covered in Jinie. It is very beautiful Jitetsu.
Hamon : Suguha around Hamachi, and above part is uneven Gunome.
There are Ko-ashi and Sunagashi and small Kinsuji.

Special feature : Hidari Mutsu no kami Kaneyasu was a swordsmith in aboutShoho era.(about 1644).
It is thought that he was left-handedness.
This blade’s Nakago is very nice color.

Historical background: Holding long Wakizashi by Kabuki actor
was prohibited in 1645.
