Signature:Mishina Tango no kami Chaku Nanba no suke Naomichi
Kansei 4nezumi 6gatsu Kichi-jitsu.

The blade has been polished.
Blade length : 61.65 cm or 24.27 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.03 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.84 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Late Edo period. About Kansei era.(about 1789)
Shape : Width and thickness are average, Kissaki is rather long, and blade shape is normal curved.
Jitetsu : Tight Ko-itame looks like a Muji hada.
Hamon : Nie based, rather tight Suguha.

Special feature : It is said that Nanba no suke Naomichi was student of
Inshu Jukaku, and Naomichi and 7generation Yoshimichi were same person.
He was born in Yamachiro province, and he moved to Edo.
He started to engrave signature “Naomichi” in 1663.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the round shaped iron Tsuba, some pattern is engraved.
And rim is raised.
Fuchikashira : On the Shakudo nanako plate, flowers are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Aogai Chirashi Saya with nut pine leaves design.
Menuki : Flowers are engraved, with gold color.
