(This blade is Noshu Seki Zenjo-ke Kanetsugu.
And on the Nakago, “September 1866. 2nd generation” is engraved.
Blade length is about 83.7 cm or 32.95 inches.
Dr. Kanzan sensei wrote this Sayagaki in early winter of 1972.)

Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome cyiji midare and in Ha, there are many ashi and yo work.

Special feature : The founder of the Kanetsugu started from Nanbokucyo period to late Edo period.
This sword is late Edo period Zenjyo kanetsugu.
The blade is very wide and thick gigantic healthy blade.
Hamon is very active and elegant hamon.
