Sori : 2.2 cm or 0.86 inches.

Width at the hamachi : 2.81 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.80 cm or 0.70 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Weight of only blade:740g
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : This blade is regular sized Katana with deep sori.
The blade shape is elegant.
Jitetsu : Ko-itame and Ko-mokume mix. It’s very beautiful Jitetsu.
Hamon : Ko-nie based, Gunome midare. There are many Ko-ashi and Sunagashi in Ha.
Boshi is Hakikake and Yakisage style.

Special feature : This blade is Mumei(Unsigned), but this blade has
been passed NBTHK Hozon Paper as Keishin-sai Naomasa.
Keishin-sai Naomasa was a swordsmith in Mutsu province. He lived in
Nakamura area of Mutsu province, and he worked as swordsmith of Soma clan.
He was a student of Naotane. And he passed away on January 24th, 1879.

Koshirae : Handachi Koshirae.
Tsuba :On the Aoi shaped Shakudo Tsuba, Karakusa pattern is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira, Kojiri, Kurikata :On the Shakudo plate, Karakusa pattern is engraved with gold color.
Saya : On the Black Ishime-ji Saya, dragon is engraved.
There are repaired parts on the top side and bottom side.
And there are some small flaws on the Saya.
Menuki : On the Shakudo plate, Ume flowers are engraved, with gold color.
