The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 69.7 cm or 27.44 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.99 cm or 1.17 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.9 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0.64 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : middle Nanbokutyo oeriod. 1362

Shape : The blade was cut shortened deep sori and longer kissaki(point) nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada and komokume hada mixed with jinie attach nice graied jigane.
Hamon : koniedeki suguha with a lot of ashi and Yo scatter in Ha.There are small sunagashi and kinsuji work.
Boshi is Togari midarekomi style.

Special feature : Unjyu was working from late Kamakura period to Nanbokucyo period. At that place, Unsyo, Unji, and Unjyu were well known sword maker which is called Ugai school or Unrui. Unrui scholl looks similar with Aoe school.
This sword has some lose hada but nice Jigane and fantastic hamon.
The blade was judged as NBTHK Tokubetsu hozon paper.
