Special feature : Yukihiro was a swordsmith of Hizen province.
He was the Second son of Hashimoto Yoshinobu.
Yukihiro got the title of Dewa Daijo in 1648 and ranked up to Dewa no Kami in 1663.
He made swords his characteristic way by using Holland steel which is called Oranda tetsu.
He passed away in 1683, aged 66 (RIP).
This blade's detail is similar as same as Masahiro's blades, Brilliant hamon (deep nioikuchi, gunome Midare and In ha, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work) reminds us of a cumulonimbus cloud in summer.
Almost his sword are quiet works but this blade is really active blade and also great work, its very really rare.
He used Holland iron for making his swords, the steels is very expensive at that time.
We find many swords which are used by Holland steal during early to middle Edo period.
We don' know why other swordsmith did not use Holland steal after Kanbun era at edo period.
Anyway this blade is one of his masterpieces.
