Katana in Koshirae (NBTHK Kicho Paper)

Signature: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Den-Shinkei Tanemitsu.
(Shinshinto Cyujyo saku ranking Musashi province.)

The blade was polished .
Blade length : 72.6 cm 28.6 rinches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.25 cm 1.28 orinches.
Width at the Kissaki : 3.1 cm or 1.22 inches.
Kasane : 0.715 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is ubu mumei and wide and thick rather long sword.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach and masame hada mix and also chilei appear along with masame hada.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare with ashi and yo work.
Boshi round shape and Yakisage deep.

Special feature : NBTHK says that the blade is Shinkei Tanemitsu.
I think the judge is very good both nakago shape and Hamon.
Shinkei Tanemitsu was born Tenpo 3year and became a student of the Naotane and became a member of the clan of the Tsuchiura family.
He generally making very wide and thick long swords.
His learned from his master Naotane bizen school.
So the blade is very similar of the Naotane like Gunome Cyoji midare hamon.

Koshirae:
Tsuba: On the oval iron Tsuba, some flowers are engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: On the iron plate, Ume tree are engraved with gold color.
Menuki: some design are engraved by Syakudo plate.
Saya:Black rroiro saya.
