The blade was high class polished.
Blade length : 67 cm or 26.37 inches.
Sori : 2 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.97 cm or 1.16 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.93 cm or 0.75 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Showa era.(March,1939)
Shape : Wide and thick and rather longer Katana than other Yasukuni blade. Shape is very nice.
Jitetsu : Tight Ko-itame, covered in Jinie. It is beautiful Jitetsu.
Hamon : Ko-nie based, Suguha. There are active Ashi in Ha.

Special feature : Yasumitsu was born in 1879 at Yamagata prefecture
which is located nothern part of Japan and died in 1941.
His name Yasumitsu was given from Army minister Araki Sadao.
He was a student of the Ikeda Ishu and worked as manager of Nihonto Tanrenkai.
While he was working, he made a sword as Gotoba Tenno 700 year
festibal, and also made a sword for His Highness Prince Mikasa at the age of youth ceremony.
He is well high reputation but his posthumous works are few because he died in 1941.

This blade was high class polished. And condition is very healthy.
Therefore we recommend this Yasukuni blade strongly.
