Signature: Mumei attributed as TAIMA.

The blade is polished, with a gold foiled habaki, in a shirasaya.
Jidai:Late Kamakura period:(1320)
Blade length: 70.7cm or 27.83inches
or Sori: 2.13cm or 0.84 inches.
Width at the hamachi: 3.08cm or 0.92inch.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.20inch.
Thickness at the hamachi:0.645 cm or 0.254 inches.
Era: Kamakura period.
Shape: Both sides of the blade has Bo-hi and the blade is wide and thick
deep sori oosuriage mumei sword(cut shortened blade)
Jitetsu: small Itame hada well grained with much Jinie attach and chikei appear.
Hamon: the keynote of the Niedeki Suguha and Gunome midare hamon mix with deep
nioikuchi. in Hamon, there are many ashi and yo work.
There are a lot of activity in Ha.

The Taima temple is located at Nara prefecture Taima city.
There were many sword makers around at this area who were belonged to the
Taima shrine.
The sword Taima are very similar with Sosyu Yukimitsu.
The Hamon is very deep and kinsen work in Ha.
This sword is also nice Hamon even if some opening in Bo-Hi.
The founder of the Taima started 1248 and continued to Muromachi period.
Thissword was made around late Kamakura period.
