Blade length: 68.8 cm or 27.09inches.
Sori: 2.0cm or 0.79inch.
Width at the hamachi: 2.89cm or 1.14inches.
Thickness at the hamachi: 0.7cm or 0.28inch.
Era: Muromachi period. February 1554.
Shape : A shinogi-zukuri katana, chu-kissaki,
iori-mune. The tang keeps good condition.
Jitetsu : Slight utsuri appears on the well-tempered itame-hada and Chikei.
Hamon : Ko-ashi and yo appear elegantly on the suguha-hamon.
Special feature : There were two generations Jurozaemon (No) Jo Harumitsus
in Osafune School of
Bizen province around Eisho era to Genki era in Muromachi period, 16th
century.
Jurozaemon (No) Jo Harumitsu is the most famous swordsmith among Harumitsus
in Osafune School.
