Shape : The blade is regular sized nice loolking shape. Both sides of the blade has Bo-Hi engraved.
Jitetsu :Itame hada and Ooitame hada mixed and Masame and along with texture, active syarp Chikei work.
Hamon : Niedeki Cyoji midare hamon up and down. The hamon is thick nioikuchi and in Ha, there are many soft ashi scatter and also sunagashi kinsuji work. Boshi: midarekomi and turns back.

Special feature : Gassan Sadakazu was born at Tenpo 7 year at Oumi province and after that he was adopted son of the sword maker Gassan Sadayoshi.He was very skillful sword maker so he made a lot of swords at that time but unfortunately Japanese government decided to issue the low of the decree banning the wearing of swords. Many sword makers obliged to stop business for making swords. But Gassan Sadakazu continued to make swords sometimes he made fake swords by his customers. Fortunately Japanese government permitted to make swords after several years later because of demanding swords for battle between China and Russia.
He was appointed official of sword maker which is called Teisitu Gigein. From that point, he made many swords use of his ability for instance, Ayasugi hada, Sosyu den, Bizenden, and other style. Especially he is very skillful of Gassan hada and also he is good at Horimono.
This sword is So den Bizen which means the blade is mixed Sosyu style and Bizen style. The sword itself we can say the blade looks like Ichimonji style. The sword is healthy elegant shape. back ground of era:meiji 28, The Shimonoseki agreement is concluded between Japanese government and Chin(China) in 1895. and Meiji 37(1904) the declaration of war is done by Japanese government to Russia. Japanese army invaded to Ryojyun and Shinyo and also Naval forces destroyed the [barucchikku] fleet of Russian naval forces.

Tsuba :On the mokko style copper plate, some leaves are painted and the rim is covered by syakudo plate.
Fuchikashira : Kojiri,and other fittings are carved some Karakusamoyo(design of grasses) by katakiri way and covered by gold colored rim.
Saya : On the Ishimei, some Kabji are inlayed by horn.
Menuki : Noshi is made of syakudo plate.
