Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi: 3
Width at the hamachi :2.65 cm or 1.04 inches.
Kasane : 0.50 cm or 0.19 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : The Hira-zukuri style Tanto. The blade width and thickness
are average, and blade shape is not curved. And Hamachi is Machi-okuri.
Bo-hi and Suken and Futasuji-hi are engraved on the Sashi-omote side.
And Bo-hi and Futasuji-hi are engraved on the Sashi-ura side.
Jitetsu : Itame works very well, and Mokume mixed. And covered in Jinie and Chikei. Jitetsu is Very fine. And there is faint Utsuri.
Hamon : Ko-nie based, around Hamachi is Suguha.?And above parts are Notare style.
Boshi is slim Kaeri.

Special feature : It is said that Rai-Kunimitsu was a son or student
of Rai-Kunitoshi.
Rai-Kunitoshi was the most skillful sword-smith in Rai school.
Rai-Kunitoshi made also Suguha style and Midare style that looks like
Soshu style.
And he made swords with many styles.

This blade has some granular Jitetsu parts, but blade quality
is very nice.
And this blade has passed NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon Paper.
