Sun-nobi tanto: NBTHK Tokubetsu-hozon token.
Signature: Tamba (No) Kami Yoshimichi.
The blade is polished, with a gold foiled habaki, in a shirasaya.
Blade length: 31.4cm or 12.36inches. Sori: 0.2cm or 0.08inch. Width at the hamachi: 2.74cm or 1.08inches. Thickness ta the hamachi: 0.48cm or 0.19inch.
Era: Edo period.
   
Shape: A hira-zukuri tanto, mitsu-mune.
Horimono: Bo-hi is carved on the front side. Sanskrit characters and goma-bashi are carved on the reverse side.
Jitetsu: Jinie and chikei appear on the ko-itame.
Hamon: Notare-ba includes gunome-midare. The temperline undulates with very deep nioi-kuchi. Boshi turns back deeply.

The Mishina School in Kyoto hatched four schools; Kyo Tamba (No) Kami, Fushimi Tamba (No) Kami, Osaka Tamba (No) Kami and Yamato (No) Kami.
NBTHK judged this sun-nobi tanto as Fushimi Tamba. The signature is vary similar to the Kyo Tamba (No) Kami the First's.
