Consignment Wakizashi Ordering number: 06340	Tanto with Koshirae(mounting). Signature: Mumei(unsigned) attributed as shinshinto. The blade was polished . Blade length:22.1cm or8.7inches. Sori: Uchizori. Width at the hamachi:22.1cm or 8.7 inches. Kasane:0.65cm or0.256 inches.inches. Era:late Edo period.
	Shape:The blade is smaller sized healthy blade. On the both sides of the blade has double Hi are engraved. Jitetsu:Small itame hada and Mokume hada mix. Hamon:Niedeki gunome midare Hamon. Special feature: The blade looks like Koto style but close observation shows Jigane is tight and Hamon is typical Shinshinto style. So I think the blade was made late edo period. Koshirae(mounting):Fuchikashira,Kurikata, and Kojiri were made by silver plate and engraved flower designe. Kogai:On the syakudo plate, flower is engraved wit gold color.
