Signature: mumei (unsigned) Kaifu.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 27.27cm or 10.73 inches.
Sori : 0.45 cm or 0.17 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.56 cm or 1 inches.
Kasane : 0.44 cm or 0.17 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is regular sized syobu tookuri style.
Jitetsu : Item hada with massage had mixed and some lose hada appear.
Hamon : Niedeki gunime midare.

Special feature : The sword has some lose had and wild hamon, the sword must be Kaifu school.
Kaifu sword makers were working at Tokushima prefecture Kaifu city area from Nanbokucho period to late Muromachi period.
The sword was cheap price compare with other sword makers.
The blade was used as cut well sword.
Ujiyoshi and Ujitsugu are both well known sword makers and the signature is mentioned on the blade mainly not Nakago.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the round shaped iron Tsuba, peach is engraved.
Fuchikashira : On the shakudo nanako plate, Ume tree and flowers are engraved.
Saya : Black color saya.
Menuki : A shish dog is engraved by copper plate.
