Blade length : 49.9cm or 19.65inches　
Sori : 1.1cm or 0.433inches　
Width at the hamachi : 2.93cm or 1.154inches
Wide at the Kissaki : 2.18cm or 0.858inches
Kasane : 0.63cm or 0.248inches
Era : Edo period Tenmei period.

Shape : The blade is wide and thick healthy blade.
Jitetsu : Small itame hada well graied with muvh Jinie attach and blackish Jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha and Notare Hamon mix and in Ha, deep Nioikuchi and Kinsuji.

Special feature : Motohira was a student of the swordsmith of Motohusa and called Oku Takazaemon.His subjects are respected highly and the top sword smith in Satuma school
during Edo period. He was lived until 84 years of age and left a lot of swords as posthumous works.
But recently it is rather difficult to collect his swords because of high popularity in
sword market.
Generally Motohira made wide and thick bigger sized swords whch were demanded by Satuma Samurai.
