The blade was polished .
Blade length : 30.0cm or 11.81inches.
Sori : 0.1cm or 0.04inches.
Width at the hamachi : 2.71cm or 1.07inches.
Kasane : 0.5cm or 0.2inches.
Era : Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : A hira-zukuri tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame hada and Mokume hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki Suguha hamon. In Ha, there are Sunagashi work.

pecial feature : Echu (No) Kami Masatoshi was the youngest son of Kanemichi. Kanemichi, also pronounced Kinmichi in Japanese who was born in Mino province and moved to Kyoto with four sons Eiroku era, 1550' to 1560's and founded the Mishina School. The eldest son Iga (No) Kami Kinmichi, the second son Rai Kinmichi, the third son Tamba (No) Kami Yoshimichi and the forth son Echu (No) Kami Masatoshi left their names on the history of Japanese sword.
