The blade was polished .
Blade length : 52.0 cm or 20.4 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Width at the hamachi : 2.80 cm or 1.10 inches.
Wide at the Kissaki : 1.82 cm or 0.71 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Kanei era.
Shape : The blade is regular sized with nice Sori.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with Jinie attach and also nice Chikei
scatter.
Hamon : Niedeki Gunome midare with thick Nioikuchi.
In Ha, there are many Sunagashi and Kinsuji acatter.
Special feature : Born around 1576 in Yamato province,
Kunimichi the First learned under Iga (No) Kami Kinmichi and Horikawa
Kunihiro. It is thought that Kunimichi was designated Dewa Daijo in 1614
to 1615. His latest work was 1657. Most of his swords show fascinating
hamon with strong Nie and Nioi.
This elegantly-proportioned wakizashi shows distinctive features of his
workmanship. Especially the texture of jitetsu outstrips one of his masters
Horikawa KunihiroŐs.
This blade has Umegane on the back side but not serious.
The Jigane and Hamon looks like Shizu Sosyu den style.
