Wakizashi in Koshirae

Signature: Mumei (unsigned)

Blade length : 47.7 cm or 18.77 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.66 cm or 1.04 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : Wide and thick Suriage-mumei Wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Ko-itame worked very well, and covered in Jinie.
Hamon : Nie based, Gunome midare. There are Sunagashi and small Kinsuji.

Special feature : I think this blade is Shinto blade in early Edo period.
There are a few small rust.
We can polish at additional cost.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the Yamagane copper Tsuba, plants design is engraved.
Fuchikashira : On the iron plate, plants design is inlaid with gold.
Saya : Black colored Saya.
Menuki : Phoenix is engraved.
