Yari Signature: Bittyu Koku Azae Ju O-tsuki Saburozae Jo Kunishige Saku. Keicho 12 or 13 Nen 2 Gatsu Kichijitsu. The blade is polished, in a shirasaya. The end and the mouth of pole is reinforceed with black horn. Dr. Kanzan Sato wrote the saya-gaki on the saya in March 1975. Blade length: 32.6cm or 12.83 inches. Sori: None. Length of the nakago: 31.5cm or 12.40 inches. Era: Early Edo period. February 1607 or 1608. |

Shape: A broadiish spear. The First Kunishige moved from Bingo province to Bittyu province around Eisho era, early 16th century. The clan was calld Ko-Mizuta and forged very sharp sword. Warriors in neighboring countries found it useful in actual battle and set high valuation. |
